Company History

Back in the early 1980′s, two hometown boys were brought together by their association with a local bank and their desire to provide honest and dependable air conditioning and refrigeration to the East Texas area. Both had extensive knowledge and experience in these areas. After much discussion, and the sharing of common ideas, Jon Clinton and Wayne Morris opened Jon-Wayne Company on April 1, 1983.

As the business progressed and grew, their 4,000 square foot building was quickly outgrown and the structure’s size was doubled. In 1985, Rodney Newsom was added to the management team to take care of the many requests for residential new construction installations and residential retro-fit installations. Again, the building doubled in size to handle the inventory required to keep up with demand

In 2014, Jon Clinton retired after many faithful years of dedicated service, and Jasper Scott and Andy Clinton joined the partnership with Rodney Newsom. Both Jasper and Andy have many years of service with Jon Wayne Company, and they both hold true to the values of Quality Customer Service, Quality Products, and Quality Installations.

Today, Jon-Wayne Company has held fast to the founding concepts of outstanding service, dependability, trained personnel, and honesty. From our office on Interstate-30, we provide service, sales, and installation of air conditioning, refrigeration, commercial ice machines, commercial kitchen equipment, and walk-in freezers and coolers.

As we look forward to the future, you can be assured that our founding principles and concepts will not be forgotten!
